The Cat Awareness Feline Sale 2026 brings together indie games on Steam from August 7 to August 17 as part of a program created to celebrate International Cat Day. Organized by Devcats, the event brings together developers, publishers, creators, and players in a selection dedicated to games that feature cats as an important part of their experiences.

This year's edition is the largest held so far, featuring more than 400 selected titles, including released games, upcoming releases, playable demos, and additional content. Throughout the festival, players will also find special discounts, as well as announcements and updates on indie productions that are still in development.

The lineup covers a wide variety of experiences, including cozy adventures, hidden object games, platformers, puzzle games, RPGs, simulations, and action titles, bringing together different approaches under a shared theme. The selection is intended both for players who enjoy cat themed productions and those interested in discovering new indie games.

The initiative also uses the celebration to raise awareness about cat adoption, animal rescue, and the importance of responsible pet care. By combining game promotion with an animal welfare cause, the festival aims to encourage the community to support protection and adoption efforts while discovering new projects.
