Independent developer Zoroarts and publisher Assemble Entertainment have announced CAAAHR, a new co-op project set to launch on PC via Steam in Summer 2026. Designed as a survival focused racing experience with a strong comedic twist, the game embraces an unusual concept by turning players' voices into the main driving force behind the action.

The project is the latest creation from solo developer Mateo Covic, the mind behind Paddle, Paddle, Paddle, a co-op title that gained attention last year for its blend of frustration and hilarity. Inspired by the countless moments of shouting and panic shared by players as they rowed their way toward disaster, Covic decided to push the idea even further by building a game where nearly every action is powered by voice.

The gameplay assigns two distinct roles to participants inside the same vehicle. While Player One accelerates using their voice, reaching higher speeds the louder they shout, Player Two takes control of steering and uses short sounds to trigger special abilities, including jumps, boosts and other tools needed to navigate dangerous tracks.

The concept combines coordination, improvisation and plenty of noise, creating matches designed to generate unpredictable and entertaining moments among friends. The cooperative focus aims to produce memorable situations, turning every race into a mix of teamwork and complete controlled chaos.

In addition to local and online co-op modes, the experience can also be enjoyed solo. Players will be able to compete against teams from around the world through global leaderboards, while speedrunning enthusiasts can take advantage of an in game timer and optional shortcuts to refine routes and shave valuable seconds off their records.

Accessibility and customization options are also included, featuring fully remappable controls. With a premise built around shouting, quick reactions and constant cooperation, the upcoming release seeks to deliver a playful and unconventional take on cooperative racing, putting friendships, coordination and vocal endurance to the test in every competition.
