Publisher Wired Productions and indie studio Mad Fellows have announced the release of Aaero2: Black Razor Edition, which is now available, debuting on PlayStation 5 and launching worldwide on the Epic Games Store and GOG.

To celebrate the arrival of the new edition, two new Music Packs have also been released for players on Xbox and PC. The packs feature the same new Black Razor Records tracks included in this version, along with new achievements, expanding the experience for fans who already follow the title.

This definitive edition of the rhythm shooter introduces a brand new selection of music from Wired’s in house label Black Razor Records, including exclusive tracks and bespoke levels. These compositions are paired with environments inspired by Arcade Paradise, taking players through cyberpunk arcade cities and cosmic megastructures while facing alien threats to the pulse of high tempo EDM.

The expanded soundtrack intensifies the series’ signature high speed action, blending rhythmic precision with fluid gameplay. The controller becomes an instrument, turning each session into a complete audiovisual performance guided by music and player input.

The project was developed by Mad Fellows, a studio founded by former Guitar Hero and DJ Hero developers, in partnership with the electronic music label Monstercat and Black Razor Records. This collaboration pushes the franchise into its most ambitious and musically driven form to date.

Enhancements include exclusive tracks from Black Razor Records, featuring music from Arcade Paradise and a soundtrack produced by former The Prodigy drummer Kieron Pepper. The edition also includes songs by Lania Kea, an emerging artist from the label, alongside chart topping tracks from the Monstercat catalogue and new visual environments inspired by these universes, reinforcing the hypnotic flow state during gameplay.
