7Levels, in collaboration with Legendary Entertainment, has officially unveiled their upcoming 2.5D action-adventure game, Kong: Survivor Instinct, set to launch later this fall. The game, inspired by Legendary's Monsterverse franchise, is situated shortly after the events of the 2021 blockbuster Godzilla vs. Kong. Players will step into the shoes of a father navigating a devastated city, driven by a desperate search for his missing daughter. This intense narrative promises an immersive experience as players encounter fellow survivors, leverage Monarch technology, and navigate a hazardous environment teeming with collapsing structures, dangerous leaks, and roaring fires.

The gameplay of Kong: Survivor Instinct blends realistic platforming with challenging combat as players struggle to survive. A key highlight of the game is the first-ever on-screen appearance of the Titan Abaddon, where players will face Kong and other iconic and new Titans. The game also introduces a dangerous mercenary group known as the Hyenas, led by Alan Jonah, the eco-terrorist from Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The omnipresent Titans will have a profound impact on gameplay, whether through direct confrontations or more subtle environmental influences.
